The effects of surface orientation and crystalinity of supports on microstructure of MoS_2 have been studied by using rutile single crystal substrates with several surface orientations as model supports.Several surface science technique,such as AES,RHEED and AFM,revealed that the shape and structure of MoS_2 clusters can be controlled by surface orientation and crystallinity of supports.
