Precisely Molded V-Grooved plastic Blocks for Coupling Single-Mode Fibers to Optical Devices

Novel plastic V-grooved blocks are formed. Their grooves are precisely positioned within the accuracy of 1#mu#m, which results in low-loss coupling between single-mode fibers and power splitters. the reliability of the coupled modules is also discussed.
