A genetic algorithm is an efficiently search algorithm, that get a tremendous value in the application of data mining, such as classification, clustering, data pre-processing and data handling process. Because traditional genetic algorithm exist the weakness which are the premature constringency, the slow speed of evening constringency and the weak power of overall situation searches which is caused by the deficient multiplicity of colony. The paper propose the improvement algorithm of genetic algorithm, niche genetic algorithm research the classification. Experimental results show that the niche genetic algorithm is better than the traditional genetic algorithm.
