At March 1999, there are three papers in the "99 China international Boat Show" about Amphibious Wing in Ground Effect (AWGE) craft. These crafts have a matter of common concern, that is how to increase the commercial loading capacity. We can draw on the experience of the light aircraft to lighten the weight of the construction. Use the advanced composite materials such as Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) and Kevlar fiber reinforced plastic (KFRP), would be increase the commercial loading capacity of AWGE craft. In this paper calculate the percentage of the capacity increase. The paper also mentions the carbon fiber mat and the epoxy resin impregnated carbon fiber mat made in Shanghai. Mention the key way of construction the advanced composite hull of the AWGE craft.
