Characteristics of six S-shaped wings are studied inthe proximity of the water plane by a two dimensional CFD simulation of viscous flow. The first two profiles have S-shaped camber with different amplitude. The next two wings have S-shaped profile only on their lower side. The last two have the S-shaped upper side and standard lower side profiles. Results show that the interference between the lower and upper side profiles is small and that S-shaped lower profiles contribute most to reduce the shift of pressure center.
