The Study on the Purification Culture and Biological Characters of Type 1 and Type 2 Astrocytes

摘要

(1) We have established the method of purification culture of T1A and T2A, which is suitable for our lab. (2)T1A and T2A are different in morphology. (3) T1A expressesβ ― APP and T2A does not, implying that T1A play an important role in the pathogenic pathway in AD. (4) T1A or T2A conditioned medium can promote PC12 cell's growth, suggesting that T1A and T2A are helpful to neural regeneration. (5)Studies on O ― 2A progenitor cells, T1A and T2A are important to the treatment of regressive diseases in central nervous system.
