In this paper, the properties of glass-filled phenolics were compared with the properties of some engineering thermoplastics. This data shows that glass-filled phenolics have superior performance at high temperature compared to engineering thermoplastics. As the temperature requirements of plastics become higher and this performance valued, higher performance glass-filled phenolics will be developed.
