Deep rock mass generally has the characteristic of strain-softening.In order to research the stability of the deep fractured rock mass after excavation, based on strain softening model in FLAC3D, combined with damage equation, a new numerical constitutive model of fractured rock mass is set up.The damage equation is considered of initial damage and damage evolution.This model is applied to analyze the stability of the roadway surrounding rock.The analysis on deformation,plastic zone and safety coefficient in surrounding rock shows that the model can reflect the characteristic of strain-softening and the crack damage in rock mass, the result can provide reference for maintaining the stability of the rock.
