On the basis of the rule of shock wave propagating in soil and the theory of transmission and reflection of shock wave at the interface of two media, the calculating model of pressure caused by spherical explosive charge blasting at the interface of soil and concrete is built. And the initial parameters of blast wave in concrete are obtained using the theory of interacting between shock wave and medium. According to the decay law of shock wave overpressure in concrete and the principle that the pressure in soil is equal to the pressure in concrete, so the equivalent thickness of soil to concrete is acquired. In the presence of engineering expressions of blast effects in concrete, the damage parameters of blast effect in equivalent concrete medium are obtained. And good agreement was observed between calculating results and experimental results. The equivalent method in this paper may have a significant reference effect for studying blast effects in multilayer media.
