The paper discusses an economic non-contiguous gridrngeneration method for the structured grid generation.rnCompared with the traditional contiguous grids, this newrnmethod generates grids for different block clustersrnindependently and is able to distribute grid points morerneconomically, according to user's specific topology design.rnThe method is evaluated by applying it to a complex fourelementrnairfoil computation. The pressure and other forcerncoefficients are well predicted in comparison to thernexperimental data. The efficiency and accuracy, is asrngood, if not better than that of the contiguous gridrnapproach.
