ESTIMATING THE PARAMETERS OF ONE CLASS OF NONHOMOGENEOUS POISSON PROCESS MODEL

NHPP models are wide used to discuss the software reliability. G-O model is one of the most classic models. In l985.Goel proposed the generalization of the G-O model. In this paper. We suggest an extension of the G-O increasing/decreasing failure rale NHPP model present necessary & sufficient conditions for the likelihood estimates to be finite positive and unique. Results are given for either grouped failure data or ungrouped failure data we easily apply these results to original G-O model and G-O increasing/decreasing failure rate NHPP model.
