Carbon fibers have been widely used in many fields due to their favorable properties, such as high intensity, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, low expansivity, abrasion - proof, thermal insulation, etc. Carbon fibers and their compounds form a new material system, and their fabrics are indispensability. However, there are also some disadvantages, such as pilling, blocking and low shear strength. This puts forward technical difficulties during weaving processing. This paper summarized the practical practices of carbon fiber production in domestic and made further studied on processes, equipment renovation and processing parameters theoretically. Carbon fibers have been used extensively because of their favorable properties, such as high intensity, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, low expansivity, abrasion - proof, thermal insulation, and formed a new material system in which the carbon fiber fabrics play an indispensable role. Carbon fibers used in domestic market are mainly imported from overseas. Homemade carbon fibers quality far behind that of imported ones. China's carbon fibers making industry is still on its beginning stage. Compare with imported ones, homemade carbon fibers have many disadvantages, such as pilling, blocking and low shear strength. This puts forward technical difficulties during weaving processing. After systemic studies on the practices of weaving carbon fibers fabrics with domestic made fibers, it concluded that it should be made with short processing, smooth pathway for fiber to go through, proper warp tension, taw operating speed, proper patrolling operation. Here below analyzes and concludes the problems happened during practical production.
