摘要

Low pressure plasma and a special atmosphere are used to modify the properties of comfort and behaviour of fabrics made of wool and blends of wool and polyester. The ions and particles resulting from the plasma action affect the fabric surface, modifying some characteristics. The use of oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide, under the plasma action, increase the hydrophylity and so modify properties like dyeing affinity and thermal absorptivity, specially related with physiological comfort.
