Collagen is the most abundant mammalian protein. However, how ollagen structurally organized into the functionaltissue is not completely understood. In this work, we applied Fast Fourier Transform second harmonic generationmicroscopy to investigate the collagen-rich cornea during the chick development. Our results indicate both the thicknessand collagen alignment of corneal stroma continue to involve during the development process.
