ONE-DIMENSIONAL AND MULTI-DIMENSIONAL RECONCILIATION USING TURBO CODES FOR QUANTUM KEY DISTRIBUTION

We investigate the use of turbo codes for the reconciliation phase of a continuous-variable quantum, key distribution protocol and introduce the idea of using lattice coding to improve the efficiency of the reconciliation. These two methods eventually result in lowering the information leaked to the eavesdropper, thereby augmenting the secret, key rate.
