摘要

The recalculation method presented previously is now verified, which predicts the mass transfer coefficient in multiple-impeller vessel employing the data measured in a single-impeller vessel. For the verification non-standard impeller diameters were used in this work. The mass transfer data are measured by the dynamic pressure method (DPM) in individual stages of multiple-impeller vessel of inner diameter 0.29m with the impeller diameter to tank diameter ratio D/T = 1/2 and 1/5. Results showed that the recalculation method is suitable for D/T ratios > = 1/3 while for the D/T = 1/5 the predicted k_La values in upper stages are by 50percent lower compared to the experimental ones.
