Promising developments for new applications

摘要

Physical vapour depsoited (PVD) coatings are used for a variety of industrial applications. Recent developments, such as duplex treatment, TiN deposited at low temperatures and Ti_2N coatings, are still udner investigation and their field of application is not yet fully known. this paper describes the deposition, properties and applications for each of these coating systems.
