HSE training, implementation & production results for a longrnterm underbalanced coil tubing multi-lateral drilling project.rnThe methods used to safely implement the bp Sajaa CTrnUBD project from start up issues through implementation willrnbe discussed. To date, 14 wells have been drilled successfullyrnwith no accidents, the decline in the gas production for thernSajaa field has been mitigated and additional reserves havernbeen accessed. This has been achieved through a programmernof training, teamwork and service company integration leadingrnto new heights of HSE performance for the industry. Inrnaddition, the key learning’s have been carried forward fromrnwell to well to optimise the economics of the project and openrnup new opportunities previously thought to be unfeasible.rnThrough a series of innovative engineering applications, thernfuture of the project has been secured.
