摘要

This paper presents an application of the genetic algorithm for the interactive optimalrndesign procedure of truss structures. The interactive optimal design procedure presented herein is arnfeedback analysis system, which consists of the forward analysis of truss structure and the inversernanalysis associated with designer’s demand by using the genetic algorithm. In order to respond tornthe designer’s demand, the proposed method has no permanent objective function in the geneticrnalgorithm. The objective function of the genetic algorithm is reconstructed to maximize therndesigner’s demand each time. Several computational examples are presented to show the concept,rnand/or validity of the proposed method.
