摘要

A structural optimization procedures for damage detection based on a concept to improve the reliability and performance of damage detection with structural shape optimization is proposed. By the concept, the objective of the optimization problem for damage detection is to maximize the minimum component of damage indicators defined by the damage detection algorithms for all damage scenarios. Numerical results for a truss model have shown the validity of the concept and the improvement of the performance for detecting structural damages by the optimization have been confirmed.
