摘要

The effect of solid solution treatment on microstructure and properties of 0Cr18Ni9 austenite stainless steel pipe fittings with cracks in base metal is experimentally investigated in this paper. Solid solution treatment includes heating temperatures ranging from 1010°C to 1150°C, holding for 40 min, and then quenching in water. Results show that solid solution treatment can improve sensitizing phenomenon of 0Crl8Ni9 austenite stainless steel elbow, and also can eliminate deformation induced martensite and abnormal hardness of 0Cr18Ni9 tapered pipe. The measurements of control quality's newly-purchased austenite stainless steel pipe fittings and the effective inspection items on inservice pipe fittings during the shut-down period were also discussed to ensure the safe operation of petrochemical plants.
