摘要

1) In time waveforms of the vibrations and AE, pulses with ball passage period T_p appear. The measured amplitudes of the pulses of vibrations and AE of defective bearings have a tendency to be greater than those of a normal bearing without any defects.rn2) Under the experimental conditions, defects can be checked by using RMS values of vibrations or AE which are measured on carriages or rails.rn3) Based on the presented collision model of a ball and a defect, it is expected that amplitudes of vibrations and AE increase as the defect angle increases. The measured RMS values of vibrations and AE increase as the defect angle in the carriage increases. Therefore, under the experimental conditions, the presented collision model is considered reasonable to explain the RMS amplitudes of vibrations and AE of the defective bearings.
