Water shutoff and sweep efficiency improvement in crude oilrnproduction from high temperature fractured granite basementrnreservoirs, as White Tiger, have been poorly studied. Forrnfinding gels stable in severe working conditions like highrntemperature, high-pressure etc, variety compounds ofrnpolyacrylamide with inorganic and organic crosslinking agentsrnhave been tested. The effects of temperature, polymers,rncrosslinkers, brine salinity and pH on gelation and stabilityrnwere found.rnBase on the obtained results, proposed by the authors gelantrncompositions could be effectively applied for water shutoff inrnproduction wells of high temperature fractured graniternbasement reservoirs.
