Several propellant options for use in high-power Hall thrusters are analyzed. Krypton,rnCadmium, Iodine, Cesium, Mercury, and Bismuth are analyzed and compared to Xenon in several areas ofrnperformance. Performance parameters examined include thrust, specific impulse, probability of ionization,rnmaximum theoretical efficiency, and sputter yield.
