摘要

A planar SOFC with 25cm~2 in effective electrode area was prepared by cofiring method and the performance was measured at 900 ~ 1000℃ under various experimental conditions. Then a simple cell model assuming perfect mixing of gases at each electrode chamber was developed to simulate and analyse the cell performance. It was found that, at constant temperature and current density, overpotential of the cell is nearly constant for a wide range of gas composition and utilization. The electrode polarization seemed to be linear with respect to the current density up to 200mA/cm~2. Possibility of applying relatively simple equations derived in this study to estimate the performance of large-scale cell is discussed.
