Cathodic property of (La,Sr)(Mn,Co)O_3 (LSMC) was evaluated at 700-1000℃. A YSZ disk was used as an electrolyte and LSMC cathode was printed and fired on the YSZ disk at various temperatures. The complex impedance and cathodic polarization were measured as a function of LSMC composition and firing temperature. The tubular SOFCs with dispersed Pt on the cathode oxide were fabricated by the wet process and their performance was evaluated at 800-1000℃. Active area was ca. 12 cm~2 for the cell without interconnector and was ca. 16 cm~2 for the cell with LCC interconnector stripe, and the thickness of YSZ film was ca. 40 μ m. The maximum power density for 16 cm~2-cell with highly dispersed Pt on the cathode tube was 0.23 W cm~(-2) at 850℃.
