The City of Ann Arbor's Energy Plan, adopted in 1981, directs the City to promote the use of renewable energy resources by providing educational ,financial, and technical assistance to the citizens of Ann Arbor. It also directs the City to utilize renewable resources wherever feasible in its own operations. Since that time the City has implemented a broad range of renewable energy policies, projects and programs.
