Stability analysis of rainfall induced shallow landslides

摘要

A comprehensive model was presented in stability analysis for foreseeing shallow landslidesinduced by rainfall. It contains almost all the current popular models based on an infinite slope. The wet layercan be saturated or unsaturated and the stabilizing forces and destabilizing forces are derived for both casesseparately. The effectivity and adaptivity of the presented model were verified by two practical applications.
