摘要

The miscibility of two types of metallocene catalyzed polyethylenes (mPEs) and two low density polyethylenes (LDPE) was studied using rheometry and DSC. The results show the linear mPE based on hexane comonomer is immiscible with both LDPEs whereas the branched mPE based on octane comonomer is miscible with the LDPE-2 in both molten and crystalline states. It is shown that increasing the length of short chains in mPEs can promote the miscibility of mPE/LDPE blends.
