Both the PU scaffold and the PU-nanoHA scaffold facilitated bone formation when seeded with osteoblasts, holding promise for applications of bone tissue engineering. Further studies are needed for evaluating the effects of time periods on osteogenesis and bone defect filling in large animal models.
