摘要

Our most recent work has demonstrated the involvement of the JAK/STAT pathway in the regulation of the anti-inflammatory effects observed with CD47-modified surfaces. This pathway has been previously reported to elicit pro and anti-inflammatory effects. In addition, CCL8 could be transcriptionally regulated by the STAT family. Taken together, these data suggest targeting the JAK/STAT pathway might be an effective method of increasing the biocompatibility of polymeric materials used in medicine.
