PRINTED BOARD PROCESS CAPABILITY, QUALITY AND RELATIVE RELIABILITY (PCQR~2) BENCHMARK TEST STANDARD

The IPC D-36 Subcommittee titled "Printed Board Process Capability, Quality, and Relative Reliability (PCQR~2) Benchmark Test Standard" was formed to develop an industry standard for process capability test panel designs and to establish a database of test results from printed wiring board fabricators. The D-36 Subcommittee membership is comprised primarily of Original Equipment Manufacturers, Electronics Manufacturing Service providers, and Printed Wiring Board fabricators. The information collected from the designs will provide quantitative data on manufacturing capability, quality, and relative reliability. The PCQR~2 Database provides a statistically valid means to compare and contrast the capability, quality, and relative reliability of Printed Wiring Board fabricators.
