Desilication test on diasporic bauxite was carried out by using two column sorting equipments. Therninfluences of collector dosage, circulation pump pressure and handling capacity were investigated.rnThe results suggest that: with the increasing dosage of collector,the recovery of Al_2O_3 increases, whenrnthe dosage of collector is 1300 g/t, the Al-Si ratio of concentrate is 10.08, the recovery of aluminarnis 84.36 per cent ;with the increasing of circulation pump pressure, the recovery of Al_2O_3 increases,rnwhen the pressure of roughing cycle getsto 0.25 MPa, the recovery of Al_2O_3 of roughing job sectionrnis 90.11 per cent, when the pressure of cleaning cycle pumps gets to 0.22 MPa, the recovery of Al_2O_3rnof cleaning job section is 92.31 per cent, continue to increase the cyclic pressure, Al-Si ratio andrnthe recovery of Al_2O_3 decrease at the same time; with the increasing of handling capacity, both thernrecovery of Al_2O_3 and Al-Si ratio decrease; when the capacity getsto 4.00 t/m~2h, the recovery of Al_2O_3rnis 81.55 per cent, Al-Si ratio of foam is 10.27. The flow sheet of bauxite column flotation is short,rnthus ‘single-stage roughing and single-stage cleaning’ two flow sheets, could complete the sortingrnoperation of middle-low-grade bauxite.rnChina’s bauxite is resource-rich, but most resources of China’s bauxite are diasporic bauxite withrnmiddle-low grade, the major minerals of bauxite ore always has fine dissemination size, mosaicrncomplex relationship, and they always hard to separate. Currently, bauxite sorting in industrialisationrnuse flotation machines as the main equipment, this is a long complex flow sheet of high energy. Inrnthis paper, a column flotation device – cyclonic-static micro-bubble flotation column is used, to carryrnout the test of industrial shunt at the production site of bauxite flotation, with its advantage like highrnselectivity, high recovery, shorten and simplify the bauxite flotation flow sheet, provides a new modelrnfor the development of middle-low-grade bauxite.
