摘要

In this paper, 7 full-scale brick walls (6 of them are strengthened by gluing the CFRP plates on the surface of the wall) are tested under the reversed loads. Through the test, the damage mechanism and the mechanical behavior of the strengthened wall are studied. The test results show that the bearing capacity and the deformation capacity of the brick wall can be improved obviously by gluing the plates on the surface of the wall.
