A GUI Program for Convergence Simulation of CRT

摘要

A GUI program for the simulation of CRT deflection system has been developed to calculate the convergence. The deflection field is based on the multipole expansion and an optimization method is used to reverse the field parameters by searching the minimum of convergence error. Finally two examples are compared to demonstrate that more poles have to be added into the field for better correction of convergence errors.
