High Speed Data Acquisition System Using USB Interface

The high speed data acquisition system designed in this paper includes two parts. One is for data acquisition, the other is for USB interface. In the data acquisition part, high speed A/D converter and high speed FIFO data buffer are used. CPLD is the controller of data acquisition because the sampling frequence is so high that A/D converter and FIFO data buffer can not be controlled in real time by ordinary microprocessor. In the USB interface part, data acquisition device communicates with computer through USBN9604. Microprocessor is the role of USB controller and the controller of CPLD.
