Radar Frequency Measure by Using of Ranging Characteristics Testing Instrument

Measurement of radar's operating frequency belongs to the field of microwave measuring. Many kinds of radar works in the state of pulse modulation, i.e. rectangular amplitude modulation, thus, the problem of trigger synchronous is most important in measuring radar's operating frequency. This paper suggests a method of radar's operating frequency testing through the way of using ranging characteristics testing instrument for radar. The principle and the procedure of the method, as well as the related factors to the result of measuring are discussed.
