A calculation of the spectral mismatch of the Vortek Large Area Solar Simulator (VLASS) is presented, based on the measurement of Tecstar Cascade~R Tecl GalniyGaAs/Ge triple-junction solar cells. The current VLASS spectral output will be compared to the WMO AMO spectral output. For one cell the external quantum efficiency (EQE) was measured independently for all three junctions. With that measurement it will be proven that the top cell is current-limiting for begin of life (BOL) conditions, for both the AMO spectrum and the VLASS spectrum. For five other cells, amongst which a secondary standard cell, the EQE was measured for the two top cells independently. The measurements show that the spectral mismatch of the VLASS for this cell type is negligible for BOL conditions. For EOL conditions the spectral mismatch can cause a large measurement inaccuracy.
