摘要

1 Introduction Stable actively mode-locked Er3+-doped fiber ring lasers (AML-EDFRLs) are promising for ultra-high-speed optical transmissions [1],because they have the advantage of broadband tunability and the capability of generating high power transform limited pulses.However,AML-EDFRL suffers from its instability,primarily due to the environmental sensitive fiber cavity [2]. In this paper,we report the first demon-stration of stabilized 2.5 GHz AML-EDFRL in China. By extracting error signal from laser output,we controlled the fiber length through a feedback circuit. Long term stabilization of AML-EDFRL for more than 8 hours had been realized in our experiment.
