摘要

A method is presented to measure the transmission parameters (dispersion,mode-field diameter(MFD) and so on) of the match cladding single mode optical fiber synthetically. It depends on the curve of the index profile measured by a refractive index profiler,and those parameters are calculated out through data processing and calculation. The new way of the data processing can provide high measurement accuracy.Comparing these calculations of 6 samples with measured results by instruments,the deviation is less than ±2nm for zero dispersion wavelength λ0 ,and less than ±0.2μm for MFD.
