摘要

During a period of drought in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, an agricultural survey of Lancaster County was conducted using false-color infrared photography. Color infrared imagery showed more vigorous growth in zones of increased soil moisture availability. This coincided with the surface expression of subsurface structures related to dissolution along bedrock discontinuities.rnIf carried to the next step, the anomalies observed in vegetative growth patterns could be used as an aid in the mapping of karst surface features or to supplement existing mapping programs.
