Laser welding of aluminium alloys - defects formation mechanisms and their suppression methods

摘要

The porosity formation is a serious problem in laser welding of Aluminium alloys. In this study, different types of porosity formation mechanisms and their suppression methods have been revealed in the pulsed laser spot and continuous laser bead weld fusion zones of various Al-alloys.
