Study on Coarse Slime Separation by Teeter Bed Separator in Chengjiao Coal Preparation Plant

摘要

The features of the Teeter Bed Separator (TBS) and its application in coarse slime separation in the Chengjiao Coal Preparation plant are discussed. The relation between the coarse slime separation efficiency by TBS and particle sizes, as well as the influence of using TBS on dense medium consumption and oil consumption, are investigated. Results indicate that TBS increases clean coal yield and recovery for the whole plant, and brough huge economic benefits to Chengjiao Coal Preparation plant.
