摘要

Despite its potential value in earth system monitoringrnand modelling, satellite land surface temperature (LST)rnis not as widely used as it could be. The Data UserrnElement (DUE, [1]) of ESA's Earth ObservationrnEnvelope Programme aims to improve user uptake ofrnsatellite-derived information by performing user-drivenrnprojects focussed on the development andrndemonstration of satellite applications. This paperrndescribes the outcome of an LST user requirementsrnworkshop organised as the first stage in therndevelopment of a new DUE project, GlobTemperature,rnaimed at improving user uptake of satellite based LST.
