Scour protection for subsea structures

摘要

Scour around subsea structures is an ongoing issue for the oil and gas industry. The design ofrneffective scour protection systems is important for the integrity of the subsea structure. This paper presents arnmethodology for the design of scour protection systems for subsea structures, discussing different options andrnthe difference between static and dynamic stability design approaches. A case study is presented which hasrnutilised this design methodology in order to assure the design will meet the required design criteria.
