MEASUREMENT OF IN-DUCT ACOUSTIC PROPERTIES USING THREE MICROPHONES

Instead of the two microphone method, three measurement points are used to complement thedrawback in the frequency response of the two microphone method. The sensitivity of themethod to measured input errors can be obtained by using SF and it is found that the equidistantpositioning of sensors gives the smallest SF,,. In addition, it is noted that extension of effectivemeasurement frequency range can be resulted by using some configurations of three sensors.
