On-line control model validation through simulation

摘要

The use of digital signal processors (DSP) in the evaluation ofncontrol models and in the detection of process and sensor faults isndiscussed. Based on measured process inputs a DSP can be used tonsimulate the process. A multivariate statistical analysis is applied onnthe difference between the true outputs and the simulated outputs. Thendetection and identification methods for model invalidity are discussed.nSome important pulp and paper applications are outlined
