Frequency characteristics of electrical properties of living tissues and it's clinical applications

Electrical properties of living tissues have both theoretically and experimentally been studied for long time by many researchers (1,2,3,4). Many researchers have tried to apply them to clinical measurement, such as impedance Plethysmography, impedance cardiography, fluid volume measurement. However, we have never have any impedance method which is sufficiently, widely and reliably used in clinical field. There are many causes of this problem. The most important cause is that clinicical doctors expect too accurate and too reliable results from impedance method because too sufficient results were reported in many papers.
