In the nearest future geothermal energy will be able to fully provide with power a number of remoternworld regions including Kamchatka (Russia).rnEcological purity, possibility of long-term utilising of geothermal resources, and relatively low cost ofrnpower to be generated make the geothermal power projects in Kamchatka attractive from an investmentrnstandpoint.rnUp to 2015 it is planned to construct Geothermal Power Plants in Kamchatka of more than 300MW totalrncapacity.
