As an initial effort to use CWRF model to study climate-crop interaction in China domain this report focuses on the construction of vegetative SBCs by using remote sensing data from TM, AVHRR, MODIS which are freely available. The SBC's were constructed onto the 30 km CWRF grid resolution in this effort. Other SBC needed in CWRF China domain and the implementation of SBC for general CWRF application will be constructed and performed in the future work. The uncertainties of the SBCs will be evaluated in the future as well.
